Kip LaVie makes music in Portland, OR, fusing electronica, jazz, ambient, and folk music from around the world. His enigmatic style defies easy categorization, drawing inspiration from ecclectic masters like Brian Eno, Miles Davis, and Jon Hassell.
LaVie plays multiple instruments, including saxophone, flute, piano, and guitar, and has collaborated with other artists artists like Emancipator, David Gluck, and Nick Shadow.
